The sprawling estate of Hatfield House and Park in Hertfordshire is a sight to behold.

Home to one of the finest Jacobean Houses in England, the Tudor Old Palace (which just happened to be the childhood home of Elizabeth I) and a fantastic 42-acre garden, it’s impressive to say the least.

In addition to all the historic splendour, the Estate also manages around 500 residential properties ranging from period farmhouse and townhouses to former Estate worker’s cottage’s and modern flats.

This is where we are involved. Storm originally fitted glazing to a couple of the properties a while ago and we were delighted recently to get the call from Gascoyne Holdings to install new glazing across the whole estate.

All the properties are being upgraded so that they meet the new EPC regulations and we will be tasked with fitting a range of secondary glazing to casement and sash windows.

Because of the sheer size of the Estate, this project will keep us busy for the next year and we will be there every month, carrying out surveys and fitting glazing. It’s always very gratifying to get called back on a job and we’re thrilled that the team at Gascoyne Holdings and Hatfield House were so pleased with the quality of our products and work that they are trusting us with the whole estate. It’s going to be a great project to work on.

Contact us today if you have a similar project, big or small!
